KindNearTerms of use
1. What KindNear is
KindNear is a free app that reminds, records and connects. It reminds an older person to take medicines, records readings that you type in from your own devices, prepares a report for the doctor, and lets a family see how the day is going and receive alerts, including an SOS with location.
2. What KindNear is not
KindNear is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. It does not measure anything. It does not replace a doctor, a nurse, an emergency service or a medical alarm service with a monitoring centre. Reminders and alerts depend on the phone being on, charged, connected and allowed to ring; a missed alert is possible. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
3. Free of charge
The app is free, without advertisements, subscriptions or purchases. The optional smart helpers are limited to a number of uses per day so the service can stay free.
4. Your account and family group
Family members create an account with an email address. The person who starts a family group is its admin and decides who joins and with which role. Share the invite code only with people you trust. You are responsible for what members of your group do with the information they can see.
5. Acceptable use
Use KindNear only for the care of people who have agreed to it. Do not use it to monitor someone without their knowledge, to store information about people outside your family group, or to attack the service.
6. Availability
We run KindNear on our own server with care, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or stop features; if we ever stop the service, we will give notice in the app and a way to export your data.
7. Liability
To the extent allowed by law, Creative Lab is not liable for damage arising from a missed reminder or alert, from information entered incorrectly, or from use of the app against these terms. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you use the app from another country, your local consumer rights still apply.
